Erling Haaland’s Agent Reveals Next Step For Norwegian Striker

Erling Haaland’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has publicly reacted to the ongoing speculation linking the Norwegian striker with a possible transfer to Barcelona.

In an interview with Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito, Pimenta attempted to clarify the situation, emphasizing that so far there has been no contact between the parties about a possible agreement.

She added that, despite the respect that Haaland and his team have for the Catalan club, there are no concrete negotiations or discussions.

“I have often said that we have a lot of respect and admiration for Barcelona, but there has been no contact, neither with Erling Haaland nor with Barcelona’s management, regarding any potential transfer target,” she stated.

Speculation about a possible move for Haaland to Camp Nou has increased recently, especially after statements by Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font, who has claimed that he will try to transfer the Norwegian star if he wins the club’s elections.

However, Pimenta made it clear that there is currently nothing concrete to discuss, stressing that the player is fully focused on his current club, Manchester City.

“Also, because the player renewed his contract a few months ago, he is very happy at Man City. Everything is going very well for him and we really have nothing to discuss about a transfer when everything is so good at Man City,” Pimenta concluded.

Haaland’s current contract with Manchester City runs until June 2034, which gives the English club a very strong position in case any other club attempts to enter the competition for his services in the future.
