The great English club, Liverpool, is said to be ready to invest within the domestic championship to strengthen itself with a new center-back, aiming for his movement to be similar to that of Virgil Van Dijk a few years ago.
According to football journalist Sebastien Vidal, Liverpool are considering a bid of £69 million or €80 million for centre-back Murillo, who is highly regarded by everyone for his level of play.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are said to be closely monitoring the 23-year-old’s situation at Nottingham Forest and could enter the race for his transfer.
Murillo joined Nottingham Forest ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season and had a brilliant season, winning the club’s Player of the Season award for his performances in the heart of defence.
His contract with Forest runs until June 2029, giving the club a strong advantage in any potential transfer negotiations.
This season, the defender has appeared in 30 matches in all competitions, contributing two goals, while continuing to attract interest from England’s top clubs.
