Liverpool have begun contact with the agents of Al-Ittihad winger Moussa Diaby as the English club explore options to strengthen their attacking department.
According to reports from Fussball Daten , Diaby is one of several candidates being considered by Liverpool’s management as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is expected to leave the Merseyside club next summer.
The French winger, 26, also has experience in the Premier League.
He made a very good impression during the 2023/24 season with Aston Villa, before moving to Al-Ittihad for around 52 million euros.
However, Liverpool is not the only English club monitoring his situation.
According to media reports, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Chelsea have also shown interest in his services.
Since moving to Saudi Arabia, Diaby has played 61 games for Al-Ittihad, scoring eight goals and contributing 29 assists.
