Manchester United Find Marcus Rashford Replacement in Seria A

Manchester United are considering a move for Como winger Jesus Rodriguez, while the English club are expected to finally sell Marcus Rashford in the summer.

The England striker is currently on loan at Barcelona and the Catalan club are reportedly keen to complete the deal. Rashford himself is also said to be interested in continuing his career at the Camp Nou.

His sale is expected to bring Manchester United around 30 million euros, an amount that the club plans to invest in transferring a new winger. According to reports, one of the names being followed is Como talent, Jesus Rodriguez.

The 20-year-old Spaniard rose to prominence last season at Real Betis, where he scored three goals and provided two assists in La Liga. However, many were surprised when Como decided to break the club’s transfer record to sign him for around $31 million last summer.

The Italian club’s investment has paid off, as Rodriguez is having a very good season under coach Cesc Fabregas. So far, he has registered three goals and eight assists in 28 games.

The Spaniard stands out for his rare combination of physicality and speed. Standing at around 1.83 meters tall, he is very fast and often outruns his opponents in physical duels.

Rodriguez also has good ball skills, but his main weapon remains speed and penetration into space, as he does not hesitate to challenge defenders in the running race.

He was criticised for his lack of productivity in the attacking area at the start of his career, but it seems that at Como and under Fabregas’ guidance he has improved his game a lot. In fact, only Inter’s Federico Dimarco has created more goals in Serie A this season.

Increasing his goal tally remains the next step in his development, but at 20 years old, Rodriguez still has plenty of time to improve and confirm the great potential he possesses.
