Jurgen Klopp’s future is back at the centre of speculation after reports suggested the former Liverpool manager is considering a sensational return to the bench.
Despite recently taking on a senior role within the Red Bull empire, rumours in Spain have Klopp on the shortlist for both Madrid giants as they consider their long-term coaching options.
However, his long-time representative Marc Kosicke has reacted quickly to dispel doubts about a possible move to La Liga, stressing that his client remains fully committed to the current project, away from the daily pressure of the bench.
“There is no need to respond to matters that are just rumors. No one has contacted us so far.”
“Jurgen Klopp is very happy with his current role at Red Bull, and the talks about negotiations to manage Real Madrid are just rumors at the moment,” he said.
This denial comes at a time when Atletico Madrid are also reported to have been monitoring Klopp as a possible successor to Diego Simeone.
