Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has revealed that Gavi could return to the field next month after the upcoming international break.
The Spanish midfielder has made significant progress in his recovery from a knee injury that has kept him out of action since September.
He will be allowed to travel with the Catalan team for tomorrow’s La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, but will not be able to play.
Flick has indicated that Gavi’s return to the green fields is expected to occur after the international break.
“He will travel with us, he is training with us, but he is not ready to play yet. Maybe after the next break. We will see,” said the German coach.
Otherwise, the national football team break for March 2026 is from March 23 to March 31, 2026.
