Liverpool Make Official Offer of 40 Million Euros For Bayern star

A delicate situation is developing at Bayern Munich regarding the future of Konrad Laimer.

The 28-year-old midfielder has a contract until 2027, but renewal talks are said to have stalled, while interest from English clubs has intensified.

According to reports, Liverpool have submitted a €40m bid for the Austrian, but Bayern have refused to enter into negotiations.

Although his market value is estimated at around 32 million euros, Bavarian leaders consider him more important to the team, especially since he is seen as a key option on the right wing under coach Vincent Kompany.

Atletico Madrid has also been linked with Laimer, but the Spanish club’s interest does not seem as concrete as that of the English.

Within the club, the stance is clear: the player is not for sale, unless he himself requests a departure – which has not happened so far.

Negotiations for a new contract remain complicated, as Laimer is reportedly seeking a significant pay rise. There have been claims that he is “disappointed” with the current offer, but this has not been officially confirmed.

Since his transfer in 2023, Laimer has played 119 games for Bayern, becoming a reliable element on the right wing and an important part of the team’s scheme.
