LAST-MINUTE DRAMA: Lady Gaga Cancels Final Tour Show — “I’m Fighting a Respiratory Infection”

Pop superstar Lady Gaga has abruptly canceled the final performance of her tour, leaving fans disappointed and concerned about her health.

The singer announced on Instagram that she would not be taking the stage for the third and final concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre, following medical advice due to a respiratory infection. Gaga expressed deep regret over the decision, apologizing to fans who had been eagerly waiting for the show.

“I’m heartbroken,” she shared, adding that the previous two nights in Montreal were “magical and special,” making the cancellation even more difficult.

The Mayhem Ball Tour, which kicked off in February in Glendale, has taken Gaga across major cities in North America, including Boston, Washington, and Montreal. Due to overwhelming demand, the tour has already been extended into September 2026 with additional dates and locations.

This is not the first time Gaga has had to cancel performances for health reasons. In the past, she has called off shows, including one in Miami, due to vocal cord issues.

Despite the setback, Gaga noted that performing in arenas allows her greater control over the details of her shows—something that isn’t always possible in large stadium venues.

Fans are now hoping for a speedy recovery as the global icon prepares for the next leg of her tour.
