A highly anticipated biographical film about the King of Pop is finally on its way—and the casting choice is already making headlines worldwide.

The movie *Michael*, set to premiere in theaters on April 24, will bring the life of Michael Jackson to the big screen in an emotional and powerful way. In a surprising twist, the role of the legendary singer has been given to his own cousin, Jaafar Jackson, following a massive global casting search.

Jaafar revealed that acting was never part of his original plans, but stepping into Michael’s shoes felt like a calling. He explained that he had to truly earn the role and prove he could embody the global icon with authenticity.
