Who Leads The Race For Alisson Becker

Both Inter and Juventus have been linked with a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, but the Bianconeri are confident they can meet the Brazilian’s wage demands and are hoping Luciano Spalletti will be a decisive factor in convincing him.

Inter are expected to part ways with 37-year-old goalkeeper Yann Sommer when his contract expires at the end of the season, while Juventus are unconvinced by the performances of Michele Di Gregorio, who has lost his status as number 1 in recent weeks.

Not surprisingly, a similar list of potential targets has emerged for both clubs. Guglielmo Vicario is an option for both teams, as is Liverpool’s Alisson. Reports on Thursday also mention that Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez could also be an option for the Bianconeri.

However, reports from Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday say that Alisson is considered the most “reliable” option for Juventus.

The Brazilian is still under contract with Liverpool until the end of the 2026-27 season, but Juventus are hopeful the English club can approve a sale, as Alisson will enter the final year of his contract in the summer.

Juventus are not concerned by Alisson’s wage demands. According to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport , he currently earns a net salary of around €6m per season at Liverpool, a figure that would not exceed Juventus’ current wage structure.

There is also the Spalletti factor for Alisson, who previously worked under the current Bianconeri coach at Roma.
