Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali has become a target for three of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, but Newcastle United continue to value him highly and the asking price could prevent a transfer from materialising.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are all in the running to sign Sandro Tonali this summer.
Schira adds that Newcastle are asking around £100m (€115m) for the midfielder, who was previously approached by Arsenal in February.
Last month, the journalist reported that Arsenal are trying hard to sign Tonali and have proposed a lucrative deal until 2031 to convince him.
However, a transfer remains complicated due to Newcastle demanding £100m and being reluctant to sell him.
Tonali has attracted many big names thanks to his dominant performances in midfield, a position that United are particularly lacking in depth.
