La Liga giants Barcelona are not the only club interested in Inter star Alessandro Bastoni, as Arsenal and Liverpool have also ‘explored’ the Italian defender’s situation, according to Caughtoffside.
Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool have set their sights on Inter and Italy star Bastoni.
According to Caughtoffside, Liverpool see Bastoni as a potential replacement for Virgil Van Dijk, while Arsenal feel the Italian defender would suit Mikel Arteta’s style of play.
Previous reports suggested that Barcelona are also interested in Bastoni, and the Catalans’ defender, Pau Cubarsí, has even publicly praised the 26-year-old.
Bastoni’s contract at San Siro expires in June 2028 and Inter are ready to offer him a new deal until 2030.
The Italian defender is a regular starter for the Nerazzurri. He has scored two goals and provided six assists in 33 appearances in all competitions this season.
He has also scored three goals in 41 appearances for the Italy national team, winning Euro 2020.
