Salah is Leaving Liverpool – Surprising Destination For The Egyptian Emerges

Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool this summer, with two potential destinations being considered.

After months of speculation over Salah’s uncertain future at Liverpool, the Egyptian striker signed a new contract with the club in April last year.

The new contract extended his stay at Anfield by two years, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.

However, since the start of the 2025/26 season, rumors about Salah’s future have resumed, fueled by the 33-year-old’s public clashes with Liverpool coach Arne Slot.

With the possibility of the Liverpool legend leaving this summer increasing, a new report has revealed a surprising new destination.

For several years, Salah has been strongly linked with a move to the Saudi Super League, with Liverpool rejecting an offer of up to €150m from Al Ittihad in September 2023.

According to BBC Sport , Salah is “increasingly keen” to leave Liverpool this summer, and it seems almost certain that Saudi Arabia will remain one of the main options for the striker, should he decide to leave the club.

The report adds that a move to the Saudi League would depend on interest from various clubs within the league, as well as the need to meet Salah’s financial demands.

However, the report also points out that Saudi Arabia is not expected to be the only option for Salah this summer, as he could also secure a move to the United States of America.

As Liverpool want to avoid their star player leaving as a free agent at the end of next season, it is possible they will welcome offers from MLS and the Saudi Super League in the summer.
