Brazilian footballer Neymar has found himself at the center of a new legal drama after his ex-cook decided to sue him, Portuguese newspaper Record reports.
According to her, she was exposed to extremely difficult conditions while working at Neymar’s house.
She claims she worked up to 16 hours every day, from 7am to 11pm, and had to prepare food for more than 150 people.
As she claims, the job didn’t just involve cooking. The cook claims that she often had to carry pieces of meat weighing up to 10 kilograms, as well as heavy kitchen equipment, which further increased the physical effort.
She also claims that she worked without days off both during the week and on weekends. According to her, this work rhythm eventually led to health problems, especially with her back and hips.
Because of all this, she is now demanding that Neymar cover her medical expenses, provide her with financial support and pay 43,000 euros in compensation for unpaid overtime.
So far, the Brazilian star has not yet made a public statement regarding these allegations.
