According to Gazzetta dello Sport , Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy is one of Milan’s main targets for the attacking department in the 202/27 season, along with Mateo Retegui and Chelsea-owned striker Nicolas Jackson.
Milan are prioritizing the arrival of a new center forward during the summer transfer window, especially given that the Rossoneri are expected to play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport , Guirassy is the main target, despite the €70 million release clause, a figure that Milan are unwilling to pay.
The striker will turn 30 in a few days and has been on the red and black club’s radar for several years, before his 17 million euro transfer from Stuttgart to Dortmund.
According to the report, the player is tempted to try a new experience in another league, having previously played in France and Germany.
Milan will not make another attempt for Jean-Philippe Mateta, while last summer’s target, Darwin Nunez, would like to return to Europe from Al-Hilal, but he is not considered a priority for the Italian club.
On the other hand, Nicolas Jackson and Mateo Retegui remain high on Milan’s wish list and have been in talks with the club since last summer.
Retegui eventually joined Al Qadsiah from Atalanta, while Jackson moved to Bayern Munich from Chelsea on loan with an option to buy.
Having played less than 600 minutes in all competitions this season, Jackson is not expected to be permanently bought by Bayern in the summer and will return to Chelsea at the end of this season.
