Representatives of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ rising star Mateus Mane recently visited Liverpool’s AXA training facility, reportedly to gauge potential interest in a future transfer, according to DaveOCKOP.
The visit was not necessarily tied to formal negotiations but aimed to better understand Liverpool’s situation and assess their interest in the 18-year-old midfielder. Mane’s representatives have also met with several other top English clubs to explore broader market opportunities.
Mane has impressed this season under Wolves boss Rob Edwards, starting nine Premier League games and contributing four goals and two assists. Since late December, he has been a regular starter and is widely regarded as one of England’s brightest young talents.
Liverpool’s continued focus on acquiring promising youngsters makes Mane a clear target as they plan for both immediate impact and future potential.
