From Barcelona To Busniess Empire – Ex Barca Player Now a Worldwide Businessman

Even though he played for Spanish giants Barcelona and shared the field with legend Lionel Messi, Martin Braithwaite’s name will not be remembered as one of football’s biggest stars.

However, the Danish striker has become one of the richest footballers in the world thanks to his great success in business.

Braithwaite, along with his wife Anne-Laure, has built a business empire estimated at around €300 million, mostly outside of football.

The couple opened a restaurant in Barcelona a few years ago and the success of the business soon led them to open another restaurant in Porto Alegre. Last week they celebrated the opening of a new restaurant in Brazil.

A very special night for us. Playa Paris Brazil has finally officially opened its doors and I am so proud to see this project come to life,” Braithwaite wrote on social media, also appreciating his wife’s contribution.

In addition to restaurants, the couple has also invested in the real estate sector, particularly in the United States. Their company deals with the purchase, renovation and rental of apartments, providing a stable and significant income.

They have also launched a fashion brand, through which they sell clothing and lifestyle products.

Thanks to smart investments and successful business management, Braithwaite has become one of the most financially successful footballers off the pitch.

However, the Dane is still continuing his sporting career. At 34, he is part of the Brazilian club Gremio, although he is currently recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.

During his career, Braithwaite has also played for clubs such as RCD Espanyol, Esbjerg fB, Toulouse FC, CD Leganés, Girondins de Bordeaux and Middlesbrough FC.
