Florentino Perez Wants These Two Stars at Real Madrid

Spanish club Real Madrid have reportedly already allocated the money they are expected to spend on two of the main transfers of the summer transfer window.

According to journalist Alberto Pereiro, Real Madrid have decided where to spend the first 100 million euros of their transfer budget.

They will be spending on Manchester City midfielder Rodri and Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck this summer.

Los Blancos are keen to add a metronome to the midfield like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, with Rodri listed as their top target. The Spaniard’s contract expires next year and he will cost around €50m.

Schlotterbeck has been identified as a leading candidate to strengthen Real Madrid’s injury-plagued defence and his price tag is said to be the same as Rodri’s.

The German centre-back’s contract also expires in June 2027 and he is reluctant to accept a new deal due to his intention to move to a top-flight club.
