The situation at Real Madrid is becoming increasingly tense, as Los Blancos’ season continues to face major problems.
According to Cadena SER journalist Manu Carreno, the Madrid club’s dressing room has become “uncontrollable”.
Real Madrid have already made a coaching change this season. Xabi Alonso has been sacked and Alvaro Arbeloa has taken his place.
However, the team continues to have major fluctuations and has lost its last two games, making the situation even more tense.
Carreno stressed that Arbeloa is facing a big challenge ahead of the next match at the Estadio de Balaídos.
“What a job Arbeloa has ahead of Friday’s game in Balaídos – suspensions, injuries… and above all a toxic atmosphere in the dressing room. It was thought that the problem was only Xabi Alonso, but it seems that this dressing room is simply uncontrollable. Neither Carlo Ancelotti nor Alonso managed it and now it seems that neither Arbeloa. I would even say that even the president is failing to control the situation,” he said.
The Spanish journalist added that Real Madrid players are not happy with any coach.
“According to them, one coach is too tough, another one does very long video analyses, another one is too soft… while for Arbeloa they think he is not good enough. But maybe a coach should not be left alone in front of an uncontrollable dressing room, which is going through a difficult period and is not giving Real Madrid fans the big nights they expect”, concluded Carreno.
