Big Revolution Expected At Inter

The early elimination from the Champions League seems to have left major consequences for Inter.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter are preparing for a summer of profound changes in the squad, with several important departures on the horizon.

In the defensive department, the contracts of Francesco Acerbi, Stefan de Vrij and Matteo Darmian will expire at the end of the season and the club is not expected to renew them.

Goalkeeper Yann Sommer is also set to leave, with Inter having no plans to extend his contract. The Nerazzurri are already looking for a replacement, with Tottenham Hotspur FC’s Guglielmo Vicario considered a priority target.

Veteran midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also expected to end his adventure at San Siro this summer.

Meanwhile, Inter are also open to selling two of the team’s most valued players: Nicolo Barella and Marcus Thuram. Barella has no release clause, but his market value is believed to reach up to 80 million euros, while Thuram is valued at around 60 million euros.

A hot summer is expected in Milan, with Inter looking ready for a deep team rebuild.
