Arsenal players have been criticised for ignoring club legends Freddie Ljungberg and Emmanuel Petit in the tunnel after their win over Chelsea.
Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to restore their five-point lead at the top of the table.
After the final whistle, Ljungberg and Petit stood in the tunnel as players from both teams headed towards the dressing rooms.
Although the pair won three Premier League titles together for Arsenal, and Ljungberg was part of the famous “Invincibles” generation of the 2003/04 season, almost all the players walked past them without greeting them.
Almost the entire squad walked past former players without greeting them, with the sole exception of Declan Rice, sparking a debate about respect in modern football, reports the Daily Mail .
Among those who ignored the duo were Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard, Riccardo Calafiori, Noni Madueke, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze.
The only one who stopped was Rice. He shook hands, hugged them briefly, and exchanged a few words before continuing on his way.
