Newspapers in Italy claim that Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri would like to bring Adrien Rabiot and Luka Modric with him to Real Madrid if he accepts an offer from Florentino Perez in the near future.
Reports earlier this week claimed that Real Madrid are considering appointing Allegri as their next permanent coach.
The LaLiga giants terminated their deal with highly-rated Xabi Alonso and are currently under the caretaker management of Alvaro Arbeloa, who is unlikely to take over the job permanently.
According to newspaper Tuttosport , Real Madrid and club president Perez have courted Allegri at various stages over the past seven years, starting with his time with Juventus.
Los Blancos are reportedly keen to make another bid for the current Milan coach, as they look to turn to a more experienced figure like Carlo Ancelotti as their next manager.
According to the front page of Tuttosport and reports from Calciomercato.com this (Thursday) morning, Allegri would like to bring both Rabiot and Modric with him if he were to accept an offer from Real Madrid.
Rabiot, as he has done at Milan, would serve as a reliable reinforcement in midfield, while Modric is someone Allegri would like to bring into some sort of role in the dressing room, potentially as an assistant coach if the 40-year-old, former Ballon d’Or winner, decides to hang up his boots in the near future.
