Alex Jimenez Makes Permanent Move to Bournemouth for €19 Million

Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that AC Milan and Bournemouth have completed all paperwork for the permanent transfer of Alex Jimenez to the English club for €19 million.

According to Romano, the deal is now officially closed, and the 20-year-old Spanish right-back is a permanent member of the Premier League side.

From Loan to Permanent Signing

Jimenez initially joined Bournemouth on loan last summer, but the move has now been made permanent. Romano revealed on his YouTube channel that “all documents have been signed,” putting any doubts about the player’s future to rest.

The €19 million fee will be split between Milan and Real Madrid. The latter, where Jimenez came through the youth academy, retained a 50% sell-on clause. Milan will also receive additional bonuses exceeding €3 million.

Early Impact at Bournemouth

This season, Jimenez has scored one goal and provided one assist in 24 appearances across all competitions for Bournemouth.

In a recent interview with Mundo Deportivo, Jimenez explained that he chose to leave Milan last summer due to concerns over limited playing opportunities, seeking regular minutes to continue his development.
